The Tape

Author’s Note: It took me over a month to finish this story. I had no idea where it was going or how I was going to end it until tonight. I don’t usually write “R” rated stories, but this has been mulling in my mind since early October and well, here you have it.

I sat my briefcase down on my desk and opened it when to my surprise I found a micro-cassette recorder inside with a note taped to it with two simple words: Play Me.
I recognized the writing immediately and I wondered silently what was going on – unfortunately my curiosity would have to wait – I was running behind and I needed to get to the conference room for a meeting. Closing my briefcase – after taking out the notes I needed, I left the office.
Three hours and twenty “urgent” messages later I finished my lunch.
I was about to get started on my recommendations when I realized I had forgotten a file I’d brought from home.
Reaching under my desk, I brought my briefcase up and opened it.
Play Me.
I took the micro-cassette recorder and earplug I’d noticed for the first time out and placed it on my desk.
I’m not sure why I stared at it, but I did.
I pressed play.
“Hi.”
I smiled.
“I know you’ve been busy with the project you’re working on and we haven’t had much time...”
I frowned – it was true. The project had taken more time than I thought and my personal life was suffering for it.
“...so much.”
I stopped the tape and rewound it. I had missed what she’d said.
“... haven’t have much time together and I miss you so much – so I decided to keep you company today.”
She went on for ten minutes, telling me about her day. What she’d done, how she missed me and to my surprise and utter delight she had Miranda with her.
“Say hello to Mommy.”
I heard her prompt – knowing full well our little girl had yet to speak and we were both waiting for the special day when she finally did.
I smiled again as I listened to Miranda’s gurgling and laughing. I couldn’t wait to see them both.
“I’ll be right back, I’m going to put Miss Miranda down for her nap.” I heard before it stopped.
I couldn’t honestly say if the tape was made in a single sitting or if she had worked on it for a few days.
“I’ve missed you - I know you’re only a phone call away, but even that seems to far. I can’t touch you over the phone...”
I stopped the tape quickly and look around my office feeling slightly foolish. I was alone – no one would come in unannounced – yet I couldn’t stop my reactions – I recognized her tone of voice.
One I had the distinct pleasure of listening to and causing on many a night...
Day...
And afternoon.
Taking a deep breath to calm my nerves, I reached out and pressed play once again.
“... can’t kiss your lips – taste you, over the phone.”
I heard some sort of noise in the background.
“I want to touch your body – see how you react – smell your arousal...”
I hurriedly reached out and stopped the tape again.
I licked my lips and spotted the bottle of water I’d brought back with me from lunch. Unscrewing the cap, I took a long drink – the now tepid water did nothing to quench my thirst.
I stared intently at the tape recorder. I knew if I turned it on I wouldn’t stop it, no matter what. I reached out and pressed the intercom button.
“Natalie.”
“Yes Ma’am.”
“Hold all my calls – I don’t want to be disturbed...”
“And your meeting with Miss Hart?”
d**n! I’d forgotten about it. “Call her and let her know I’ll get in touch with her later.”
“Yes Ma’am.”
“Thank you Natalie.”
I pushed away from my desk and quickly walked over to the door that led into my office. I locked it.
I couldn’t take the chance of someone barging in on me – I’d seen it happen before.
Turning around I see the cassette recorder sitting so innocently on my desk, exactly where I’d left it and like a siren of ancient times it calls to me – beckoning me to stray off course and crash along the jagged shoreline.
There would be no turning back, taking a deep breath, I ran my hands down the length of my skirt on the pretext of straightening it. I shiver as I touch my legs.
Calm down I silently admonish myself.
I walked back to my desk, never taking my eyes off the recorder. A thought came to me as I sat down, I can’t have anyone hearing this, so I plugged in the earplug and placed it in my ear.
I pressed play.
“... see how...”
“AGH!!” I yanked out the earplug.
“Mrs. Kundera... are you all right?”
“I’m fine Natalie... just a little accident with my water bottle, that’s all.” I tell her as I frantically press the stop button. “Thank you.”
“Okay Mrs. Kundera.”
I turned the recorder around looking for the volume control readjusting it. I should have thought about that before starting the tape again. I shook my head. Natalie must think I’ve lost it.
Great.
I’m about to put the tape recorder away when I stop myself.
Hmm...
A lot of time and effort went into making this – it would be shameful not to listen to it to the end. And my curiosity was... aroused – if nothing else.
I rewound the tape.
“... can’t kiss your lips – taste you over the phone. I want to see you lick your lips before kissing mine.” She moaned.
The earplug, I decided, was a vast improvement I had to admit. The intensity of her voice was clearer. I heard more noise in the background. She gasped, which made me sit up. I closed my eyes and tilted my head to the right as if by doing this I would enhance my listening pleasure.
“How does it make you feel...” There was a slight pause – another moan followed by yet another gasp. “To... to know I’m touching myself.”
I gritted my teeth as my legs began to rub together. A stray thought crossed my mind as I sat listening. I’d need to have environmental services come up and check the thermostat – it was getting far too hot in my office.
“Do you want to hear how wet...”
Oh God – the way she drew the word out.
“... am for you?”
“Yes,” I hissed as if she could hear me.
I’m not sure what she was doing.
“I hope you can hear this,” she said, although she seemed farther away for some reason.
I had a death grip on the arms of my chair as I heard the evidence of her arousal. I could feel my breasts strain against my bra – I was squirming in my chair. I wasn’t sure how long I could listen without doing something.
Without giving into my urges.
“Did you like what you heard?”
I nodded vigorously.
I continued to listen as she pleasured herself – for her sake as much as mine. My hips would move forward and up of their own volition – trying to find relief from the ache I felt.
I allowed myself a small measure of relief during one of the more intense moments on the tape – I caressed my breasts – biting down on my lip to keep from moaning out loud.
I could tell she was getting close – her breathing became more ragged – labored. The way she kept saying my name and God’s.
I wasn’t sure how much longer I could take this delicious torture when I heard her groan: “I’m going... to... come!”
Never in my life had I wanted her in front of me at that very moment. I wanted her beneath me, I needed to see her climax, feel it.
“I love you Bianca!” she managed to say as her orgasm swept through her.
My eyes shut tight and before I knew it, I had climaxed with her.
“Lena... Lena,” I moaned, my hips continued to rise and fall from the chair. By the time Lena had finished, we had both orgasm twice more.
I reached out – my hand trembling and I pressed stop. I tossed the earplug on the desk and tried to gather my strength. I grabbed the water bottle and by the time I’d put it down, it was empty.
I practically jumped out of my skin when my cell phone began ringing.
“So... was it good for you?” I heard Lena’s rich, deep and somewhat smug voice ask.
“How did you know?!” I blurted out.
“I called about thirty minutes ago and Natalie said you didn’t want to be disturbed – not even for Kendall,” she replied laughing over the phone line.
Busted.
“Lena...”
“Yes Sweetheart.”
“Was it good for you?”
“Always. In fact,” she paused momentarily. “Just the thought of you listening... perhaps even touching?”
My pulse jumped. Okay calm down. I cleared my throat. “Was that a question or a statement?”
“A question.”
“Well...”
“Yes...”
I could hear Lena’s breathing change. “Did you touch? Did you let your hands wander while thinking I may have?”
“How could I resist?” she answered truthfully. “Did you?”
“Yes... but not as much as I wanted.”
“Where?” Lena asked, her voice becoming lower.
“My breasts.”
“Nowhere else?” she sounded a little disappointed.
“Lena...” I heard her voice catch.
“Yes...”
“What are you doing?”
“Speaking to my wife.”
“Is that all?” I had to ask. I needed to know if she was touching herself again. My mouth began to water at the thought.
“Perhaps...”
“Wait!” I cried out. I pressed the intercom button. “Natalie, I’m leaving for the rest of the day. Reschedule whatever meetings I had pending.”
“All right Mrs. Kundera.”
“Lena, don’t move. I’m coming home.”
“Hurry... I need you.”
“Fifteen minutes,” I said as I gathered my things and headed for the door. I had the wherewithal to take out my hands-free headset and had it firmly in my ear. My hand was resting on the doorknob when I stopped. “What are you doing,” I whispered.
“Come home... an... and... you... you’ll see.”
I reached into my pocket and took out my cell phone – she’d hung up on me. Oh, she’ll pay for that I told myself as I left the office. I was a ball of nervous energy – the elevator couldn’t come down fast enough. I tapped my foot. “Come on... come on,” I muttered the entire trip down to the parking garage.
I took out my car keys and opened the door. I tossed my purse and briefcase across the passenger seat and got in.
“Sh*t!” I cried out as I scrambled for my cell phone. “Hello!”
“Where are you?”
“I’m pulling out,” I told her.
“I expect you to push back hard Bianca.”
I slammed on the brakes. Thankfully there was no one behind me. “Are you trying to kill me?”
“No, I simply want you ready.”
“No need. I’ve been ready for the last forty-five minutes and that reminds me, you owe me a new skirt,” I told her as I drove out of the parking garage and towards home.
“Did you have an accident?”
God how smug she sounded. “I wouldn’t call it an accident inasmuch as a well thought out plan of attack. It’s a good thing I decided to take a full length coat with me.”
Lena’s throaty laughed reached out and caressed my ear. “I think I’m getting off rather cheaply,” she said.
“It doesn’t cost me a thing to get you off,” I replied as I quickly yet cautiously weaved my way through traffic. The last thing either of us needed was for me to get into an accident.
“No it doesn’t. You could “get me off” with a single look – the one that tells me that you’re about to devour me.”
I turned on the air conditioning – it was getting hot.
“Is that a whimper I hear?” Lena asked.
Did I?
“You’ll be whimpering and more when I get home,” I told her with as much bravado as I could muster.
“Ah... assertive Bianca has reared her head. “You know how much I love that,” Lena practically purred.
I was three blocks from home. If I weren’t careful, I’d probably have to pull over and take matters into my own hands – literally.
I decided to kick on the afterburners. “I want you in bed Lena – naked and touching yourself,” I could hear her gasp. “By the time I walk into the bedroom, you’ll be begging me to...”
“What?”
“F*ck you.”
“God Bianca...”
I could tell I was wearing a smug look on my face. I don’t curse very often and when I do its general knowledge – at least to Lena and Kendall – I’m ticked off.
However, there were many times when Lena has driven me insane – half out of my mind when we’re having sex that I usually end up cursing – something I believe excites her more than she thinks I’m aware of.
I push the button on the garage door opener, half tempted to get out of the car and run into the bedroom. I’m not sure how I was able to park the car and head inside so calmly with Lena’s moans in my ear.
I tossed my briefcase and purse on the sofa. I started stripping – jacket, shoes. I began to unbutton my blouse before stopping and taking a quick look at Miranda.
I tip toe into her room – she’s sleeping. I adjust her blankets, make sure the baby monitor is on and kiss her before leaving.
Off comes the blouse, the bra – the cool air teases my breasts. I divest myself of the rest of my clothes and I stand in the doorway leading into our bedroom.
I hang up the phone.
Lena.
My beautiful Lena is writhing in pleasure.
I’m transfixed.
My eyes travel over her body.
The faint hint of her arousal reaches my nose and I breathe deeply.
Her body glistens with a slight sheen of perspiration.
I hear her gasping out my name: Bee – anh – ka.
Her eyes flutter open and lock on mine. With one hand she reaches out to me.
I rush to her side – feeling the weight of her body on mine as she pulls me down and rolls me over.
I realize two very important things before she kisses me senseless.
One: It’s good to be home.
Second: I’m so glad I listened to the tape.
